Meet the Baker

My name is Hannah Foster. Most likely that means nothing to you, but in case it does, I'm that small-town author that writes Christian contemporary fiction. Or that small-town barista at your local friendly coffeeshop. Or just that ordinary friend who probably shouldn't have a baking blog, but here I am, nonetheless.

I'm wife to a Hebrew professor. We like playing pickleball or tennis with each other. I live in the rolling hills of Idaho and truly love its beauty. I obviously enjoy baking, or I wouldn't have this blog. I also dabble in watercolor art. And as mentioned above, I write Christian fiction and work at a local coffeeshop. In between all of that I read...a lot.

Now I know there are fifty million other baking blogs out there, so you're probably asking what makes mine special? I'll tell you. I bake with sugar, flour, and dairy. If your allergic to any of those things, you might not care for this blog, but I'm here for those who do still bake with those typical unhealthy ingredients. I also like to give recipes straight, so if your new at baking and need a step by step, picture by picture kind of post, then I'm not your gal. But on the other hand, if you're tired of scrolling down to the end of a very lengthy post to get to the basic recipe, then I'm here to make life simple. While I may share a few thoughts here and there, I'll mostly get right to the point, and the recipe will be quick and easy to find. Lastly, I don't have a degree in the culinary arts. I'm just a very ordinary wife enjoying her little kitchen. So, if you want to follow along then please do, but if you want the professional, then I'm not her.

  1. I love that old picture of you. By the way, you haven't done cooking in a while.
